Our lesson times and availability follow either Pacific or Eastern Time, depending on your instructor.
2 / What genres of music do you teach?
We tailor our lessons to your musical preferences, incorporating the songs and styles you love. Our instructors are skilled in a wide range of genres, including pop, rock, jazz, blues, metal, funk, classical and flamenco.
3 / What type of guitar do you teach?
We offer lessons on acoustic, electric, and classical guitar.
4 / Do students need their own guitar?
Yes, students are required to provide their own guitar and pick. If you need help choosing the right equipment, we're happy to offer personalized recommendations.
5 / What kind of guitar should I buy?
We’re happy to offer custom advice based on your preferences and needs. However, we strongly recommend visiting a music shop to try out different models before making a purchase. While electric guitars are often easier to play, acoustic or classical guitars can be excellent choices if they better match your musical interests. Ultimately, the best guitar for you depends on your style and the kind of guitarist you aspire to become.
6 / How can I assess my level of guitar playing?
Rating your skill level is not essential, as it serves only as a reference for tailoring lessons. During our first session, we will discuss your goals and determine the course of action for future classes based on your aspirations.
7 / How often should I practice?
We strongly recommend practicing at least 20 minutes daily between sessions for optimal progress. Regular practice allows you to reinforce the skills you've learned and enhances your overall growth. However, the pace of your learning is entirely up to you, and we are flexible with adjusting the classes to fit your schedule. The more consistent your practice, the faster your progress will be.
